Change Your Wi-Fi Router Admin Username and Password

Every Wi-Fi router comes with the default username and password that you can use for full administrative control on the router. Most of the router has a web-based interface that can be accessed by IP address (192.168.1.1) for full control and management router settings. If the user is connected to Wi-Fi router, he can access your router admin panel. If he knows your Wi-Fi IP address and username password of the admin panel. He can do anything with your router setting that he wants.

Step-1: Find Your Router IP Address

• Open command prompt window and type ipconfig in the command window.
• The router’s IP address will display to the right of the “Default Gateway”.

Step-2: Access IP Address

• Now type IP address in the address bar and hit enter.
• Now enter your router admin panel username and password to log in.

Step-3: Find Access Control Option

• Now find access control option in router management settings.
• In the passwords field type your old password and change to a new one.
• When you will Apply new settings, the router will take 30 seconds to make a change.

Now type IP address and enter the new admin username and password for full control of the router.
